A trailblazer on the international stage and a proven asset at the collegiate level, Vojtech Mensik brings an incredibly unique, global pedigree to the coaching ranks. A native of Brno, Czech Republic, and a fixture on the Czech National Team, Mensik starred as an infielder for North Carolina State University, where he started all 56 games as a sophomore and became the first Czech player in history to compete in the NCAA College World Series. Known for his clutch performance, he helped punch the Wolfpack's ticket to Omaha by hitting a critical solo home run to upset top-ranked Arkansas in the 2021 Super Regionals. Following his historic college career, he signed a professional contract with the Los Angeles Angels organization, playing for the Inland Empire 66ers and showcasing dynamic speed with 15 stolen bases in 54 minor league games. Having excelled as a versatile multi-position infielder across the ACC, affiliated minor leagues, and the World Baseball Classic, Coach Mensik specializes in modern infield mechanics, base-running strategy, and preparing players to compete at the highest international levels.
