An accomplished international baseball strategist and player-development expert, Andy Berglund brings a highly unique, global pedigree to the coaching ranks. A former utility player at the University of Minnesota who graduated in 2001, Berglund transitioned into a prolific international career, serving as a player-coach in Sweden and leading Stockholm BSK to an Elitserien title in 2008. He went on to achieve historic success on the European stage, managing the Czech Republic National Team to an unprecedented silver medal at the 2011 European Junior Championship and earning a nomination for the prestigious European Baseball Coaches Association (EBCA) Coach of the Year Award. Berglund's versatile leadership includes coaching stints with the French and South African national teams, a decade of service as an MLB Envoy Coach and Academies Consultant coordinating top European prospects, and scouting for the Milwaukee Brewers since 2017.
